Centre Media Values (CMV) is a community-based, volunteer, Progressive, grassroots organization located in Centre County, Pennsylvania. Our members believe that the future of democracy in our country requires that all points of view be balanced and heard. Our goal is to reach that state of balance by bringing a broader and more diverse range of ideas to the region through the media.

Killing the journalists as a matter of policy?



One would wonder why Bush is having our military intentionally target journalists, when most of them are toeing the administration line anyway.

US urged to probe Iraq media deaths

International Federation of Journalists’ calls for:
An Independent probe into unexplained killings;
New rules to make targeting of media and negligence over journalists’ safety a war crime;
A Global campaign to demand justice for media victims.
